While visiting Plano, guests can stay at the Homestead bed and breakfast. The home was built in 1854 by the city's founder, Lewis Steward. Today it boasts five distinct rooms for guests. Behind the house is a brick labyrinth and numerous sculptures to be admired. Most of the furniture can be bought, as the house is a decorator's show house. No pets or smoking is permitted inside.
Featuring three spacious suites, the Arbors Bed and Breakfast of Plano provides accommodations inside of the heritage home. The master suite has its own bathroom, while the other two bedrooms share the facilities. Common areas include a cupola loft, a screened porch, a sun room, a living room and a parlor. Breakfast is included in the price.
