An excellent area for bird-watching and paved paths for walking, the Wilkinson-Renwick Marsh of Kirkland offers a preserved march for guests to enjoy. It is one of the few marshes that wasn't drained in the 1930s. The wetland is home to more than 115 speices of birds and 130 types of vegetation. The Wilkinson-Renwick Marsh is located a quarter-mile (half a kilometer) north of Route 64 on Anne Glidden Road.
Standing in the Franklin Township Park is a memorial to war veterans throughout the years, from the Civil War to modern day conflicts. The park also provides visitors with picnic facilities and shelters, a playground for children, a stage and plenty of green space for relaxing.
