From March to October, guests can enjoy the vegetation growing at Long's Garden. More than 1,500 varieties of plants and grasses are planted along pathways, including trees, perennials and ornamental grasses. The gardens are open Monday through Saturday from 8am to 5pm and Sunday from 12pm to 5pm.

A rare sight is found in Fulton, as it is home to the prickly pear cactus, which is found in the city's sand prairie. These plants usually grow in the southwest areas if the United States where temperatures are significantly warmer. The cacti grounds are located north of Fulton.
