Gramercy Park/Dunleith Mound Group
Burial mounds estimated to be from the Middle Woodlands era (600 AD) draw people to Gramercy Park's Dunleith Mound Group in East Dubuque. There are 20 sites remaining here, which are thought to come from the Hopewell Native Americans. Interpretive signs and trails maneuvering visitors through the area, which overlooks the Mississippi River Valley. Picnic tables and shelters are also available.
