Apple River Parks & Gardens

Apple River Canyon offers guests scenic areas for them to camp, fish, picnic and hike in. Deposits of fossils can be found throughout the park and the area is full of wildlife and interesting plants for visitors to see. There are four picnic areas and three shelters found close to the river. A primitive campground is available. It is disabled accessible but does not have any showers. There are also five trails for visitors to hike.
