Amboy Depot Museum
The Amboy Depot Museum was built in 1873 as the the division headquarters for the Illinois Central Railroad. Today visitors can tour through the preserved 19-room museum and see the old steam train that stands in front of the building. Local artifacts from the area are also on display. It is open from May to September on Saturdays from 11am to 2pm and Sundays from 1pm to 4pm.
